Coogi

The coogi sweater, made infamous by Dr Huxtable and championed by Biggie Smalls, is one of the more interesting of knitwear designs around!
Always criticised for being a somewhat ugly knit, the textures and colours are always interesting and eye catching!
We'll be selling one on our Etsy shop very shortly...

Bill Gibb

Some of my favourite knitwear designs ever are by Bill Gibb, who in the 1970s was a contemporary of Biba, Ossie Clarke et al.  I couldn't find a good image of his piano key cardigans which are the best.

This article is pretty good on the history of his designs, I don't profess to be an expert at all on his work but really like what I've seen of his designs!  http://www.ltscotland.org.uk/Images/BillGibbLoRes_tcm4-374586.pdf

New blog & Etsy shop!

As Christmas is looming and as the deep chill sets in.. the one thing on everyone's mind is which vintage knit to wear!

As a vintage seller I thought i'd start this ode to the humble jumper, sweater and cardigan having come across the most radical designs of late

Be it the Coogi, the novelty Christmas jumper or a staple Cable knit, we'll be writing about it or featuring it in our shop at
